Okay,

I have my hard drive partitioned into c and d. Operating system is on c. I had changed where xp stores my doucments to the d:.

Yesterday I was forced to reinstall xp (format c and reinstall).

Now when I try view the My Documents (in windows explorer) from old pre-reinstall user, I get a pop-up saying:

D:\My Documents is not accessible. Access is Denied

Which makes sense as I had them locked down so they were only available to my user. But now that user is long gone.

Question is, is there any way to make them available to me again?

My new user has the same name as the old one.

Thanks.
