My Documents assigned as my network home directory

Hi, can I make my home directory drive H will be MY DOCUMENTS always?

Do I need a special script for this?

Any idea is very much appreciated...

Right click on "My Documents", Select Properties and change it as you see fit.

I have 100 of users from defferent branches. Can I do that in OU group policy? Or do I need to have a script to do that. [ponder]
 
You can use a GP to do that as well.

Anybody out there did that configuration? Is that an ideal way or just making the login connection slow...

Why would you think it would make the login slow? It's just redirecting to a network folder, not actually copying any information.

Because the whole profile of the user will be moved right? [ponder]
 
Yeah, if you redirect it will copy the current content to the new path. I've only done that using UNC paths rather than a mapped drive - but at least on a UNC it will use offline files too. (e.g. sync)

Suggest you do some research on security permissions if the H: isn't already setup and created too. (MS Technet has a few)

It will be moved once, yes, not everytime. But again, if that's what you want to do policy wise, then implement the policy and move on.
