Can anybody help!

How come when I make up a new document in quark and then import and place a picture from say photoshop.
When I print the document the image shrinks to a diffrent size???
I'm going nuts trying to work it out.
The picture box is big enough, I have even made it enormous, but when I place the picture what I get as result still is a smaller image than if I had printed it with photoshop.
Please help!

When you print an image from Quark Xpress it will print at the size you set it up as.

i.e. If you make a Quark page that is 210mm x 297mm (A4). And put a picture box measuring 100mm x 150mm on it. Then put a picture in that box so it fills the box. When you print the page the image WILL be 100mm x 150mm (unless you specify a %age reduction in your print setup).

When you output an image from Photoshop the size it prints is dependant on it's physical dimensions and it's resolution.

Hi,
So I did all that.
In shop my image size is w19.15 h 10.16
when I print and meazure my image the size is w19.15 and 10.16.
In quark I've made a new doc A4, with a picture box w 19.15 and H 10.16 I've got and placed the image in the box.
next when I print and measure my image is W18.3 and 9.7, but on my screen it still tells me that the size is correct?????
What and Why????
Is it gone mad?
