Good Afternoon,

I am building a form that contains command buttons that allow a user to perform an action to the record. I want a small message to appear helping them determine what each button does as I don't ahve room to label them. Going through the posts on this forum, control tip text seemed to be the ticket. I added it to my forms command button, opened the form, moused over it, hovered,.... nothing. Tried it again... nothing. Created a new form with just one button, tried again...nothing.

Any ideas? Does something need to be turned on? I am working with Accesss Project from Office 2003.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Eric

Did you go into the properties of the command button itself, and put it in the ControlTip text property?

Zor,

I have the text in the correct property for the button. Upon further investigation through the web. This appears to be a problem with Office 2003, though no one really told me how to fix it. The funny thing is that it works on my associates computer, just not mine. The reason why it works on his vs. mine is the true question now...

With so many glitches being reported in the past few weeks on ACC2003, I have to ask if you've installed the SP3 update on your machine?
