Just installed a new Mxe rel 9 but facing the problem that all conversations be it internal or external on the SC1000 have a low volume in the earpiece. How do I increase the volume for the earpiece of the SC1000 & the Mxe as a whole?Have been using volume up button when a call is in progress but this doesn't help.Anything else that I should try?

As far as I know, the SC1000 does not have a volume adjustment at all. There is a ring adjustment only.

Have you tried a headset with a volume amplifier?

The SC1000 has been shipped withan amplifier for the handset/headset for a number of years.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Actually the SC1000 has audio adjustment. For interest sake, during a conversation press the volume up button repeatedly then change to the volume down button & press it repeatedly.Notice that the audio volume on the earpiece goes up when pressing up & vice versa.

The maximum volume attainable was not to the liking of the user so I resolved the issue by resorting to using headphones with amplifier.

Sorry for misleading you on the Vol control. It's been a while since I've installed a SC1000 and obviously Mitel has modified it.

Glad to hear the idea of the headset was workable though.
