MX-One Extension Manager and SQL

Hi,

Is it possible to install Extension Manager (v5.6) on a backend SQL database or the it have to be local.
I would have having to avoid purchasing a new SQL license.

Any documentation in about this?

no you can't do this. You can use free express version without any problem though.

Do you know of any particular reason for this?
We have approx 600 extensions so we can use the MSDE version.
