This has been a problem for a month or so now and I can't seem to pinpoint exactly the cause. Here is the situation....

if you receive a voicemail on Friday, your phone set will blink indicating a new voicemail waiting.... when you arrive Monday morning, the MWI no longer is blinking despite never listening to the voicemail on Friday or at any time over the weekend.

I have checked all the services that run between Friday and Monday, but can't seem to pinpoint the cause. Can anyone provide insight on this? Would a backup of the database cause this issue to occur? what about time syncronization?

Scheduled events:
1. Weekly: backup of 3300's
2. Daily: time sync & directory sync
3. monthly: backup of OPS data

Look in the "system options" form. There is a option there for call back message erase (something to that effect). I believe the default is 24 hours. Blank the field and you should be good.

If you did not take enough time to get it right the first time...

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

Sorry, It is System Options Assignment form and the option is "SUPERSET Callback Message Cancel Timer".

excellent. the default is 24. I appreciate the assistance on this one! Will let you know next weekend if this did the trick

What type of voicemail is involved.

The system option above only applies to VM's using MiTai message Waiting.

If you are using MiTAI then I guarantee the System option is your issue. It must be set to blank.
