Our customer has Centrex with a centralized voicemail attached to an SMDI link. If we put a MICS at three of their larger sites with the centrex lines on the MICS, the documentation leads us to believe that we can get a message waiting indicator based on the CLASS feature of the Centrex. Has anybody been successful in doing this? The documentation has been known to list capabilities that don't exist.

I believe you will need call line id cards in the mics and possably subscribe to call line id from the CO. I thimk my company has done this but the installs have been few and far between......
