AAM ver 6.3 with 2 servers in HA mode.
I recently ran out of extensions in the 1000 range and moved to the 2000 range.
I am getting a few users in the 2000 range telling me their MWI light is not lighting up on their phone.
These are all new users, new users in the 1000 range are not having the issue.
Is there somewhere to tell AAM the extension ranges?
Is there anything I am overlooking?
Is there a command in the ASA where I can turn on the MWI to test?

Newglide;

does your AAM connect to Session Manager or CM. As its HA, i would suspect its via Session Manager.

As such, i recommend you need to create a dial plan in System Manager for 2XXX towards the CM entity. A review of the 1XXX pattern may give you an idea of how it needs to be setup.

The way this dial pattern works is that when a Notify Message comes from AAM to SM, it contains the 2XXX number as the destination. If 2XXX is not configured to route anywhere, like CM, then the lights wont work, as CM is the feature server that turns the lamps on and off.

Hope this helpsl

I do have a session manager and a CM, I typically configure then via the ASA
I do currently have the 2xxx set up in the dial plan analysis...

Should I be looking at something else?

ok so you posted details of CM dial plan.

you need to check the SMGR dial plan too. this is the one that will pass MWI notify messages from SM to CM - without a 2XXX pattern in SMGR, you will experience this issue.

as posted above, login to SMGR and review the setup of 1XXX and copy that for 2XXX

thanks,

Sorry Ken, I haven't been on in awhile.
Yes I got it working
