Message light not working.
I have a supervisor acd phone in which the light does not work.

MWA in CLS is set. I have outed the phone and rebuilt. Switched with a known working 2616 phone. and still deos not work. We have CallPilot. I have not deleted vmb. ???
anything elese? THANKs

I ma not understanding, mainly part of DN TO BE MONITORED.
This set DN and DID and also ACD phone whch DN and DID are on other sets.
Currently: KEY 5 MWK 7000 *Would I change that to
KEY 5 XMWK 7000 152 (7000 is CallPilot 152 is the DN)

is the mailbox set to light ext. 152.. yyyy should be the number that the mailbox is trying to light. Everything looks right.
 
Question. Does supervisor Jay Gorn extension 152 or 4473 show up on any other phones?
 
yes, 152 is his mailbox 4473 is the did.In CP, MWI DN is set 152.
Spanton - yes, ext 152 and 4473 are set at his admin and the company receptionist.

his light use to work on same set until he was moved up and I added his ext to admin and recept.
is there anything else that needs to be done to
KEY 5 XMWK 7000 152?

With the way you program key 5 only calls going to the mailbox via dialing 152 should light the phone. Test and let me know.
 
Is the Light working at all? To test it program a MIK and MCK keys on your switchroom phone. With your phone on-hook you can press the MIK key then dial 152 then pres the MIK key again and then the light on X152 should go on. You can use the MCK key to shut off the light.:)

Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

OK this is what is happening on ACD phone the Agent personal DN is not a prime DN on a phone.If it is added to multiple phones Voice mail gets confused and does not know where to send the Message light. You can add a DN that only appears on the agent's/supervisor phone and make the Voice mail turn on that DN.

 
I tried MIK/MCK and dialed 152 did not work. I will try adding another DN. Now in CP, this will replace 152 in MWI DN correct.
 
I don't believe you have to replace the 152 in CP you should be able to add that new DN to the same mailbox and it should like.
 
It worked.
I added the new DN and added the DN to CallPilot. I did have to replace MWI DN with the new DN to light up.
