i have a DN on key 13 on a phone. I built a dummy 500 port with the same DN and had this 500 port hunt/fna to voicemail. My question is, do i need to make the dummy 500 port's class of service MWA? the phone that it appears on has MWA but I'm not sure if I need to do it for the dummy 500 port. If I make it MWA is that going to confuse the voicemail as far as where to put the light on since the dummy port doesn't actually exist? thanks.

You can have message waiting on the digital set by programming an extended message waiting key on the set.
I believe the prompt is as follows...RLS 24 or higher?
key xx xmwk xxxx yyyy.
key 14 xmwk message center DN and then the DN to be monitored.
If you have message waiting on the dummy set, you may get errors on the voicemail system because there is no phone to send the messaging signal to.
