Has anyone configured analog sets on the EX controller MVB 9.0

Yes, using the 4 port FXS card. It's easy.

When you add your new user from users and services, under the 'service profile' tab select 'analog-FXS' as the device type from the drop down box.
Then choose which FXS slot and circuit to use from under 'device details' tab and 'endpoint ID'

i tried that and it said no endpoints available. In the EX controller GUI I can see the FXS ports and they all say Idle. Am I suppose to freate another profile for the FXS ports?

What do you see under 'Users and Devices' / 'Advanced Configuration' / 'Analog Telephones' / 'Gateway Sets'?

It should show you the FXS circuits available and any configured extension numbers. Do you have any spare?

there are no endpoints in the Gateway sets form but I have 8 FXS ports on the EX controller.

What do you have in the EX controller slots?

There are some card position rules that might stop the MiVB from seeing your FXS cards.

Slot 1 must be PRI if present or DSP

There can't be gaps between cards. So you can't have DSP in slot 1 and FXS in slot 3 with nothing in slot 2

If slot 1 is empty and there are other cards in other slots, they won't be recognised.
