Good Day,
I am working with Crystal 9.0, Enterprise 9.0, and a stored procedure on SQL Server. I have designed the report to allow for multiple value parameters or "ALL". All scenarios appear to be working when I test the report in Crystal however, once I have uploaded the report to Enterprise and applied the same variable I get zero records returned or only get the records related to the last selection for the multi-pick parameters. If I use the refresh button on the report after it has returned zero records and re-enter my parameters on the Crystal pop-up box I get the expected results. Is there a change I need to make on the Enterprise settings? Is there something I can do on my report to get things to work? Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks,

Interesting one...

You say that you test the report, but don't say how you tested it. Scheduled? Running now, or?

I would guess that something is amiss in the way you're "testing" the report, so please post how you're doing this.

I have tested the report as follows:
-Directly in Crystal Reports - get expected results
-In a customized Crystal Enterprise interface, run now - get zero records returned
-Refresh report results from Enterprise interface, re-input parameters in Crystal generated parameter pop-up - get expected results

Hope this helps clarify,

The problem seems to be specific to Crystal Viewer, used to create the customized interface. When I run the report through management console or crystal reports I get the expected results.

Perhaps there's soemthing funky in the code there...

If it runs correctly in eportfolio and the cmc, but doesn't in a custom written front end, then the front end is the problem.

Thank you...I will start a new thread if the problem persists.
