Mute a 9650

Hey guys!

I have a user suspected of muting calls and ignoring the cust. Is there a way to disable the mute button on a 9650 phone?

i'm not currently working on a system that has 9650 phones available for administration but all the phones that i can do a 'change station xxxxx' on, i can enable or disable the mute button on the first page in the second column.

i'm nowhere near a genius. just a Navy Submariner that went to work for Lucent/Avaya for a while.

you know what's going to be a not-so-funny moment? when that end user presses that mute button the next time or two and doesn't realize that it's been disabled and says something stupid while the customer is listening.
