Mustek WCam 3X Driver Error

I've got a Mustek WCam 3X that was working fine with Windows'98 but when i upgraded to Windows 2000. The driver installation popped-up a message saying "Windows NT detected. Cannot complete Installation". The same thing hapened when changed to Windows XP.

I run to Mustek website to get the latest Windows Drivers for Windows 2000 (the driver was the same for Windows 98,2000,NT) but the same error.

NOTE: Asking for help from MUSTEK prooved @#&%$!

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM !!!

Partially, ...... YES

The installation software of Mustek WCam3X is really STUPID.

Regarding Windows2000, you should login as the member
ADMINISTRATOR, with Administrator priviledges (belongs to the Admin group).

NOTE: If you login as another member ...... Boogey !!!

e.x: I logged in as 'Michael' and i had full administrator priveledges and the software couldn't install.


REGARDING WINDOWS XP: Bummer, None of the drivers that i tried seem to work. The hardware wizzard locates the camera and it downloads the propper software from the internet, but it doesn't work !!!!!
