Is the Avaya recommended Smart Modular Technologies the only PCMCIA[b/] vendor that I can use to upload/upgrade software Partner ACS releases with ?

The PCMCIA card must be a "linear" flash card, but it doesn't need to be made by Smart Modular Technologies.

Thanks. I just bought one. You saved me several hundred bucks. If you are in the bay area, I owe you dinner !

dont worry about it, I was in the same boat as u, and I was driving myself crazy trying to get that software to program pc cards, until i luckily stumbled upon the ebay listing. I'll keep you updated if the card works, but there shouldnt be any reason it shouldnt since that seller has alot of positive feedback from other upgraders.

just to update you, i received the pc card with the o patch today, and it worked perfect, I have the extension name and number on the display now.

Thanks Ed. Hope to be getting mine today...
