We have a new music on hold vendor and now the volume is very low. I checked the NTPs for a way to control the volume in the RDB, but I don't see anything. Is this possible or can it only be adjusted on the MOH Unit?

no that is a manual function only, i looked to see if padding could be added the way it can be on a did that is to hot but don't have those prompts...sorry don't have a turn the knob clockwise command "YET"..

Thanks John.
Perhaps my unit is the problem. I'll switch units with another facility to determine.

YOUR VENDOR MAY NEED TO INSTALL A PREAMP

What type of MOH device is this. You should just need to turn it up, like a radio.

Janaya,

The volume is turned up as much as possible.

Thanks...Kimmiejoe

We have Muzak on all of are switches and every time they installed a unit the volume was to low and we had the vendor install a preamp and a volume control knob.

Does the unit have an 8 ohm / 600 ohm switch on it?
My OHP4000 does and it was set for 600 once. Took me a little bit to figure out why it was so quiet.

It does and I've switched from 600 to 8ohm and back again. I got swaped units from another facility and it works fine now, so the vendor is shipping a new unit as of yesterday.

Thanks everyone for your help :)
