Whats a good setup for Music on Hold and playing music through the handsets for offices?

I'm going to require a roof mount attenae so I'm not sure that a cheap Walkman type tuner will suffice. The customer wants fairly decent sound and reception.

Any suggestions? Do I need to go to a full blown FM Tuner/Receiver?

You might want to use something other than a radio station.

From the book:
In accordance with U.S. Copyright Law, a license may be required from the American Society Of Composers, Authors and Publishers, or similar organization if Radio Or TV broadcasts are transmitted through the Music On Hold or Background Music features.

I have several customers that use a cheap walkman, I do make it a point that I do not supply the source device but have the customer supply the source.

I hookup alot of CD players with randam / repeat capabilities. That way they can load with generic CDs and just let it go. No tunning of stations. Also if the have cable TV in business, the digital radio from the cable provider is great.

Good Luck!!
