Is there a way to check or monitor "music on hold" without calling another station and being put on hold? G3-V7

Thanks for your help.

You could set up a VDN/vector application that will just put the caller on hold.

Add vdn xxxx point it to vector yy

cha vector yy

wait 30 seconds hearing music.

Call it and see what happens.

I wish we could. We don't have vectors, but thanks for replying.

Yes, you can listen to the music, All you need to do is administer the Facility test call Feature code(ch fea)
All you need to dial is facility test call code followed by the music port no..(like 01d0401 would be 0140401)... 7 you will listen to the connected music.

:)

The Facicilites test call feature worked like a charm... glad I saw this thread... it was always such a pain trying to check if the MOH was working before! Thanks for the excellent advice.

How can I see where the music port is ?
Can it be done via DSA orASA or is the only way to go and look where the cable goes ?

RGDS

Depending on your system you'll find it in "change system features" or in "change music". Plan your work............Work your plan
