I have a client that has an iphone for a music source and complained of music on hold breaking up. While on site I called in and had myself put on hold and at the same time had background music playing through a set. Over the set music plays fine but while on hold on my cell at the same time the music breaks up. Same thing happens when calling in on a land line. Any one encountered anything similar?

Upload a wav using a lower volume choice and see if same issue using Music Manager and/or change the music source.
Need to be careful of impedance and volume on the source or you could damage the BCM music side of things if not too late.
Also try the other MOH port as there is the jack on the front or the pair on the amp cable.
Music source specifications
Ensure that the music source follows these guidelines:
•
Nominal input impedance is 3.3 kilohms.
•
Nominal sensitivity of this interface returned to digital encoded PCM is -22 dBm0 for a 0.25 V rms input signal.
•
The input is limited so that the encoded analog content at the digital interface to the network
does not exceed -12 dBm when averaged over any three-second interval.
•
The maximum non-clipped input level is 1 V rms.
•
The interface is protected against ringing cross.

My fault really.
I am guessing the KSU moh parts are pooched if trying a proper music source or turning down volume does not work.
