When i play the file on my pc it sounds great but when i load it into my manager embedded file management it sounds like crap. it has white noise and is distorted. Anyone know how to fix this?

What format is you file ? Make sure the recording is 8k, 16 bit, Mono.

it is supposed to be. I told that to the customer and they say it is. how can i check?

LOL you believed the customer? Oh boy.
You need to convert it with audacity or something similar.
