Hi all

I am using TSE 4.1 SP4.

I have 2 ACD grp and i want 2 different MOH to be played for the 2 ACD grp. I understand that i need to connect the TMU to the CD Player.

What programming needs to be done so that i can assign the correct MOH to the correct ACD grp?

I've done abit of research but am unsure if the following commands are correct.

RAEQI:bpos= TMU
Set TMU as RVA equipment?

RADSI:VSID=1,ANN=1;
Set CD player on TMU as ANN1?

RAMDI?
Set ANN with a MSG?

RAGAI
Set which grp gets which MOH?

Any guidance will be great as i have never done this before.

Why TMU?
You have an ASU? I think so.
you must record the messages on the ASU board. The wave files must be formatted correctly.
And proceed to configure RA and AS

WAV is the file format to be used for RVA messages, with one file per
message. The recording format is Pulse Code Modulation (PCM),
according to ITU-T recommendation G.711 (A- or m-law, mono,
sampling frequency 8000 Hz). Files must be stored in little-endian format
(which is normal when recording on an Intel-based PC).

i had forgotten

The file must be named message<number>.wav , where <number>
stands for the message ID expressed as a three-digit number, for
example, message014.wav . Only lowercase letters are allowed in the
file name, and the number must lie within the range 001 to 250.

Thanks for the reply.

But the customer wants to play the MOH using CD player instead of using wav files.

Is there a way of doing this?

Sure this is possible. No need for RA commands...
just set D3 of SERV of ACD to 1.
if you want to provide queue music you must do RAGAI:GRP=x, QUEUE=251; (=TMU channel1);
set ASPAC 116 to 7 and ASPAC 161 to 8192
