Is it possible music on hold in ACD Paths and when ACD Agents put the caller on hold the music on hold start every time from beginning for every caller. Any help Appreciated.

Nope

The hold source is common to all callers regardless of when they are placed on hold.

You need to understand that the 3300 is designed to handle thousands of callers. Individual hold sources simply uses too many resources.

Thanks for your reply.

yes i understand that but in the contact centre the customers needs to play their advertisement or product information or product safety instruction while callers in the queue.

If you want callers to hear a message from the beginning, use a RAD. If you want to force callers to hear a message before being queued up, create a separate path just to play the RAD message, then overflow that into the path with the agents.

yes i know but there is restriction in RAD the maximum recording time of RAD is 2 minutes only for esch recording.

Hey I've got an idea.

Rather than play a recorded message, answer the call. [jester]

Nope nope sorry the customer doesn't want that.

You can't duct tape stupid.

So you want to force callers to listen to a message more than 2 minutes long before they can talk to an agent?
