I have a PC with the Music on-hold music on it. How would I go about connecting this to a Modular ICS Unit. Does it use a digital port or is there another way that is connects.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

you can find the pins to connect to at faq799-1799 and change the programming under feature * * 2 6 6 3 4 4 system programming->Feature settings->on hold: to music

Thanks, I will give this a try.

Also, it's a 600 ohm input, so make sure you don't overload it or it could damage it.

When I look at the FAQ, which Card is that that I am looking at with the port 17 as music input. I have tried the port 17 but I am not sure that I am even on the right card. What am I doing wrong?

On the MICS connect to the yellow/orange pair on the second amp. cable with stations on it. There are three amp. cables on main cabinet. 1 for telco lines and 2 for stations.

Good Luck!!
