Hello- I'm looking for tips on how to get my MOH to play in between rad greetings while callers are in ACD queue. Currently the I alternate between two different RAD greetings (advertisements) while callers are in queue.

Any of my fellow techs out there set this up before ?

System is a Mitel 3300 MCD MXe-3 controller

in the acd path there is an entry for selecting music

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Its in the path programming where you indicate that you have a music source and where to locate it ( internal vs external. ).

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Billz66 / loopylou -thank you guys for the info, really appreciate this.

-the problem I'm running into now is that I apparently can't use my external music source, that is plugged directly into the MOH port on the back of the MX controller. Documentation suggest that it has to be a .wav file uploaded to the MX...am I understanding this correctly?

Can be either. You pick the source in the path programming ( external/internal/none or something like that ).

External is fine

You only need embedded sources if you want them to be different from the system source. The system source is assumed. I don't think any programming is required other than to have the music enabled on the system.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Normally you program the Virtual PLID for MOH port in the E&M Trunks
