I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what I can do to resolve this problem...

I have an office in Canada with two people. They have ADSL for internet and are using VPN to get to our network. We were having problems with voice quality, so I send them a two port MultiVOIP and pointed it to their potts lines. The problem is the calls is coming back to our office to pick up the greeting then going back over VPN instead of the potts line, so the voice quality is still bad.

Should I add a small gateway service to the location? (G250 or G350)If I do what will be do about voicemail. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

VOIP is all about bandwidth and QOS. If you are using VOIP on desktop or laptop, it must be configured properly for VOIP. There's a QOS parameter that needs to be set to have good voice quality.

Another thing, it is better to set the ETH port to 100Mb Full Duplex Setting rather than setting it to automatic.
