Multiselect option greyed out while creating new field

Hello All,

For info I am less familiar with ACT!, I am trying to create a new field and selected an option to use drop down list the next option I want is to use multiselect from drop down list which is greyed out by default and not selected, How can I edit this option to select. Am I doing something wrong, Need assistance please.

version is ACT by Sage 2006 Version 8.0.0.181

Its a character field and I have selected to use drop down list and have already imported a list, but not able to select the multi select option.

Why haven't you updated to 8.02?

I think this was a known issue in 8.0.0.
