Trying to get more than one VPN client to connect from behind a firewall that has a single IP address. We are using Cisco Systems VPN Client version 3.5. Is this possible?

Yes it can be done... The easiest way is to enable NAT-T on the headend device, I would use VPN client 4.0 or 3.6 but 3.5 is rather outdated. If the VPN clients are behind a PIX firewall then you can also enable fixup protocol esp-ike but you need to run 6.3 in order to enable this fixup protocol.

Depends what is the firewall with single IP address. Cheap NAT routers support only one IPSec connection at the time.

Thanks for the responses. We are, as it turns out, using a cheap NAT router. Does anyoen have any recommendations on a good router that supports multiple VPN connections?
