Multiple voicemail greetings

Where there a way to have end user voicemail boxes automatically change from Greeting 1 to Greeting 2 based on a timer. Customer would like all callers to hear Greeting 2 within ext/user mailboxes on the weekends and Greeting 1 on the Weekdays. It is an IPO R8 with VMPRO set to Intuity Mode. Thanks in advance.
 
You could build a custom handler for each user in vmpro client.
Add a leave point for each user then create timebased routing to play either greeting.
That is the quick answer.

 
I was looking at the leave message action for the individual's Leave Start point but don't see how to direct it to one greeting versus another.
 
You need to create a condition and then add it in the call low.

It works for hunt groups if you create a schedule for open and closed it will automatically switch between greetings
One greeting for all calls and one for closed (option 6)
For Users it is painful and needs to be done in the leave point in VM pro

First caveat to this fix; it makes it so you cannot press digits before leaving a message (dtmf breakout).


1) In the global get mail action (or just get mail for the user), setup a menu for 1> change greetings 2>get messages (goes to get mail)
2) opt 1 goes to menu 1>editplaylist>$NAM_Greeting1.wav, 2>editplaylist>$NAM_Greeting2.wav
3) in global (or just for a user) leave mail, do your standard time checking, and breaking weekend/weekday into two Voice Questions. Make the first prompt $TARGET_Greeting1.wav, with a response of however long you want. send it to the $TARGET mailbox.

Might work!

Don't have a system around to play with, but it seems legit! Let me know if you try it.

AACon...I didn't try this as the user's personal greetings give options for 0,2, and 3 (DTMF Breakout). I have about a 100 users that would like to have this implemented to remove the human element of not remembering to log into their voicemail boxes Friday evening to activate Greeting2 for the weekend and then on Monday morning activate Greeting 1 for the weekdays. Ideally I am trying to implement a Default User Start Point, Create a Weekly Planner Condition; True (M - F, 00:00 thru 23:59) goes to Leave Mail Caller's Mailbox and get it automatically play Greeting 1; False (Sat - Sun 00:00 thru 23:59) goes to Leave Mail Caller's Mailbox and get it to automatically play Greeting 2. I am coming up short on the getting the appropriate greeting to play automatically...Thanks.

I understand the Test Condition using a Weekly Planner to sort out the weekdays from the weekends, but not how to present the caller with Greeting 1 versus Greeting 2. Please elaborate on the condition you are referring to. Thank you
 
The conditions can contain hours too on days.
So you need to specify those times.
Then for greeting 1 use true and greeting 2 for false.
Or am i misunderstanding you?

I understand the condition using True/False based on a Condition (Weekly Planner) and routing the call. I am routing the caller to Leave Message Actions based on the true/false of the condition, but not able to designate a Greeting 1 or Greeting 2 within the Leave Message action for the user's voice mailbox. Is there another Action or Condition the would change the active greeting the caller hears for that individual user? I am try to figure a "Work Around" since many of the users forget to Activate their Greeting 2 on Friday before they leave or Activate Greeting 1 when the arrive back to work after the weekend. Thanks again
