I have a company that had 1 base unit with 3 handsets on it.
They then after a while added the 4th handset... All is good...

They then needed more and I went in and added another base unit with 3
more handsets...
I did some fine tuning and needed to allocate some space between base units. So he moved them approx 30-40 feet away and changed the frequencies on both base units so they are not the same...

All seemed okay. Now the guys are busier and using the sets more a strange
issue has developed. When a guy from base unit 2 gets away
from his base unit and closer to the 1st base unit area his other 2 guys on his base unit have issues with calls dropping and stuff like that...any suggestions?

check the docs on the 7406 base unit. I think when you added a second you needed to change a switch on the unit to activate a second frequency set to prevent interference.

It sounds like he did that. Are they using a wireless computer network, too? I've had issues placing base units too close to Apple "Airports" with T7406e's.

Are you sure it is when he gets closer to the other base or does it also happen when he just gets too far from his own base?? (walk away from both bases)

Presumed you used a different SS code on the second base?
