Multiple subreports

CRXI, SQL database.

I have a report with 8 subreports in the report footer session. I created a parameter to allow them to choose which subreport to run.

Question, Each subreport has its own parameters however when I run the report it asks for answers to all the subreport parameters. Is there anyway to isolate the paramenters to run just when that subreport is chosen.

Ideally the same questions are asked for each subreport.

You can then replicate params in main report and link relevant main params to SR params.

In SR linking select the main report Param and in drop down list in bottom left choose corresponding SR param.

Ideally it would be nice for all the questions to be the same for each report however that is not the case.

I can link it just fine and everything works, I have set defaults so they are not required to answer a parameter.

I was just trying to find a way to have them see the parameters that were relative to the report they were seeking.

As far as I am aware that is not possible. If a parameter exists it will be presented when you try to refresh report.
