Hi All

I'm about to create a multiple room booking database and was wondering how to store the rooms booked. Is it best to store them in an array, as a string or simply have a table with a field for each room as a yes/no format.

Anyone done something similar, any suggestions?

ProgramError,
I have something similar on the boil at the moment. I Have used the 'Table' option as I can store details about the room as well.

Don't mind sharing if we can help eachother.

Hi Solo

That's fine, I'm all for sharing. Only been using VBA since end of Jan this year, although have used an assortment of BASIC which helps.

I'm based in a UK University, we have several rooms in the building some with equipment built in others which require the equipment installed.
The beginnings of the DB start with table s for equipment list(including technical help - ahh academics don't you just love them!), table for preselected start/end times (going to use a combobox for this), contact/phone/faculty and a main table which has
dtae booked/ref#/booking originatior/contact/rooms/starttime/endtime/equipment required/provisional/comfirmed/SentForCosting/comments

Just for starters
