Multiple Registers

Hi and thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
I recently bought Microsoft Dynamic RMS software with all hardware, I have then built another pos system, scanner printer etc.
I have added a new register to the store operations manager, register #2, the new pos system works, i.e. It shares the same database and adds to the database etc, the individual components work ok, but when I come to use it as a POS it looks to register #1, all components are logged as register #2, register #2 till won't open after transaction, any ideas do I need to assign something?

Simple terms what I mean is I'm trying to set up 2 POS systems with Microfoft Dynamic RMS V2, 2 PCs, 2 Scanners, 2 Printers, 2 Tills, but can't get them to work.

Assistance would be good please

Hi Mike,

It really depends on what kind of hardware you purchased along with the software. If I had to take a guess I'd say the OPOS drivers for your printer and cash drawer are not setup properly.

With RMS your reseller can be your best friend if you've got a good one. I'd give them a call.
