I am running CR XI and pulling my data from an oracle db. I have a report that pulls work orders with all tasks associated with the order. Every time a user goes in and makes any kind of update to that task a new ready time is generated. I want to only show the earliest occurrence of each work order based on ready time. The user is put on a clock to accomplish the task in a certain amount of time and the first occurrence of the order based on ready time will start the clock.

Work Order Task Ready Time
Order_100 Rearrange 01/05/06 2:30:02PM
Order_100 Rearrange 01/05/06 3:25:07PM
Order_100 Rearrange 01/05/06 4:20:05PM
Order_101 Rearrange 01/05/06 12:20:05PM
Order_101 Rearrange 01/05/06 11:26:07PM

Desired records -
Order_100 Rearrange 01/05/06 2:30:02PM
Order_101 Rearrange 01/05/06 11:26:07PM

If you need more information please let me know.

In the section expert for details, click on the x+2 button beside Suppress and enter a formula based on work order such as:

{workorder.field} = previous{workorder.field}

Will this work if I have multiple occurrences of the same work order as mentioned? Some orders I have show 10 occurrences with the only difference being the ready time. I only need the very first occurrence. Thanks for your help

It will work as long as you have the records sorted based on work order number first then by date/time.
