I have an issue that is simple on the surface but there doesn't seem to be a simple solution.

I want to send an email to my project team. At the same time I want to BCC my boss on the email. I need my boss to receive an attached file but the team can not see this attachment. The catch all this MUST be done in one email for accurate records, etc.

Any ideas? Please advise.

Can't be done.

Will have to send the document pasword protected so the other recieptents can not open it, otherwise send the original, then forward this message to the boss with the attachment.

Thanks for the response. It seems there must be away to do this, even if there is a 'plug-in' or something of that sort. I image it like this: you create an email and while selecting recipients there should be an option to include (or not) the individuals that will receive the attachment.

Any other ideas out there?

It will NOT work, there is no 'workaround' add-in or any other tool that would do such a thing.

The only thing you can do is send out the message in 2 steps or groups - 1 with the attachement & 1 without. If you want to keep the content exactly the same, you could forward the 1st message from the sent folder and either add or delete the attachement (as applicable). You might be able to semi-automate something like this with VBA, but it might or might not be able to work that way.
