We currently have an issue with one user sending multiple read receipts to one person for the same email message on a daily basis.
They are both using Outlook 2000. One thing I have noticed is that the sender of the receipt has 'always send read receipt' selected in his tracking options. It's possible that modifying that setting will solve the initial issue, but it still should not be sending duplicate read receipts.
The original email message that the read receipt was for is from November 2006, it is now late January 2007.
