Multiple Party Transfer? 1

Scenario:

Caller 1 and Caller 2 are on the phone.

Caller 2 opens a transfer to Caller 3. Caller 2 has not released ownership of Caller 1.

Is there a way for Caller 3 to then transfer Caller 2 on to a new phone (without releasing Caller 1)?

sounds like you are trying to split a conference call into 2 or 3 separate calls ... caller 1, confer caller 2,, caller one can hang up are hit conf angin, making it a three way call.. you can have a rls buttonn to rls each party on a confer, but you can not split that single confer into 2 separate calls... the orig caller can toggle between two parties, but that is not extended to conferees

thanks... that’s kind of what i was thinking as well. my original description was basically the abridged version though. here’s a bit more information, that i guess i should have added.

Caller 3 is actually a group of hunted 500/analog lines attached to a piece of third party “Phonetic Attendant” equipment. basically you call into this set up, say the name of the party you’re trying reach, and it transfers you to said party.

Caller 2 receives a call from (Caller 1) a customer, and needs to transfer this customer to another coworker, but doesn’t know the ext. Caller 2 wants to be able to set the customer to transfer (or conference etc.), then connect to the “Phonetic Attendant” (Caller 3) without releasing Caller 2, then have the “Phonetic Attendant” transfer both parties (via these analog lines) to the final destination. Essentially, keeping the customer (Caller 1) on hold while the user (Caller 2) is going through the process of trying to reach the destination.

I wasn’t sure that this was actually possible, since the analog line (Caller 3) actually drops the calls when it goes to place the transfer.

station 2 puts me on hold or transfers me to ?

anyways

call comes in from outside.
you hit transfer for this call, and dial station 2.
the outside call is still in that limbo state where you haven't fully transfered the call (haven't hit transfer again).

is there any way for station 2 to then transfer me on to someone else?

when station 2 goes to transfer me, i've still got the outside caller (sitting on hold or what ever) waiting to be connected to his transfer.

after station 2 transfer you, you will have outside caller on hold.. you've started a conf call witht he orig party, station 2 xfers you to station 3, complete the conf call,

if cdoc=no in load 15 an analog can achieve a transfer by going back on hook

What do I need to do to enable calls to be transferred to an outside line? The phones all have the ability to dial outside lines, but when they try to transfer to our other office in another state, it doesn't allow it. The customer stays on the line. Also, is there a way to do this system wide so I don't have to change each individual phone? Please give as much info as possible...Thanks.
