I have a PC with two operationing systems on it. So when you turn the PC on you get a choice of with one you want to run. When this appears there is a 30 second countdown before the default OS starts. Is there anyway that you can reduce this down to a shorter timelimit??

Many Thanks

Mark

you can go to control panel\system, click on advance tab, there is this option "Startup & recovery"

Just don't look for it in win9x or millenium - coz you wont find it 8')

You can alter the boot.ini file and reset the countdown time. The boot.ini file may be read-only so remove this attribute first and reset after you've made the changes.
