Multiple Option Buttons in Word

Hi,
I've got a bunch of different option buttons throughout a couple of pages in a word document. However, say I select an option on page 1 initially, after I select an option on page 2, the option's on page 1 get removed...Ie. I don't see the circle filled in anymore on page 1.
I'm not sure why their being linked together, despite being on separate pages.
