Hi,
I am running Sendmail on HPUX11 box with primary domain name... lets call it 'a.com' .
everything works great until I have added new domain name in 'sendmail.cw' to receive for... lets call it 'b.com' .
Now, when I send a test mail to 'user@b.com' , the Sendmail has accept this and forward it,
when I receive the mail via mail client I see that the 'To:' field is actually filled with 'user@a.com'
which is the primary domain name that this box is relay for.

Any thought? may be 'Official domain name' or 'MASQUERADE' settings?

Please advice...

Thanks.

I do not think this has anything to do with sendmail.
Probably you have not set "send as" in your mail client.

Your server will always be identified with the "real" domain so if you did not set any virtual address in your client, it will send using the real user and primary domain, not virtual address.

Cheers
