Does anyonw know the way to get an XP Pro Laptop to work on two networks without using a domain server and roaming profiles?

I have a laptop that gets moved between two different offices. Can the network settings be pre-set somehow so that the user doesn't have to change network settings manually?

Thanks for any help.

Control Panel, Networking, Local connection, Properties, TCP/IP protocall, Properties, Alternate Configuration.
Set to Manual, put in the settings for the second connection type. Cheers,
Jim

I think you're looking for more than just setting the IP address for each office.

There's other things like Default Printer and maybe Proxy settings for the browser.

Check out awesome utility for just this reason.
