need help quick, customer has mitel 3300 mxe ip controller and wants two types of music. trunks are pri, with 300 DID's. this is an after hours answering service and they want specific music for funeral homes (approx 65 DID's) and specific music for everybody else. Agents log into ACD to take calls. Tenanting is all i have come up with but do not know how to assign it to the DID's, or if possible?

The music source that is played while waiting in queue can be specified on a queue by queue basis.

If you are talking about the music after being answered and then placed on hold by an agent, that's a completely different story.

More info yields better answers.

call will be answered by greeting(thank you for call XYZ an agent will be with you.......) then call goes to an agent inside the ACD this is where they may be put on hold and get the specific music.

Sorry for being dense but you answer is still unclear as to whether you want the MOH to play before of after being answered by an agent.

If MOH after automatic greeting but before agent answer, no problem

You seem to be saying after agent answer and that doesn't make sense.

I'm going to assume before agent answer to save time.

In your path assignment form options, After the Recording assignment options that play your Thank-you for calling message, input Embedded for the audio source and select the music source you want.

Upload the MOH via the System Audio Files update form.

kwb, thanks for your response, I was actually refering to after the agent picked up, But I do need the specific music at both times. before and after agent picks up. Sorry for not being clear any help is greatly appreciated.

The music that plays after agent answer is dependant on the tenant of the set. You can assign specific hold sources for up to 64 tenants. If the agent answers for more than 1 group, you're out of luck.
