Multiple MEW keys on digital phone 1

I wondered if anyone could help.

I need to be able to assign two message waiting keys to a MD110 digital phone, so this phone can act as an assistant and can see when her manager has vmails. The system is presently BC8.0, and has an Octel Senerade vmail system connected vis analogue trunks.

I can get one 'MEW' key assigned to this digital phone, but this doesn't have any parameters with it, so it picks up the message waiting for the prime DN only.

Any ideas?

It is not possible to do this, I am sorry. You could try configuring the Serenade to call the assistant if there are any messages on the bosses mailbox?

Could you explain the need to an assitant to warn the boss about voice mail? Has the boss a DTS without free key with led?

If the Boss is just one of those types that doesn't want to deal with his own messages, set his mailbox to autocopy to the secretary's mailbox.....she can transcribe his messages and never have to access his mailbox.

Boss doesn't want to deal with his mail on a day to day basis, but sometimes needs to listen to his messages. We had this set to autocopy boss messages to assistant, but this was not what they wanted, due to the fact the boss wanted to review his own messages sometimes!

It looks like the option slash has put forward might be acceptable, I'll put it to them.

It is not possible to have 2 MEW key in 1 DTS phone. But you can have another extension that will serve as a boss MEW. Initiate 1 small DTS just for the purpose of MEW. Hope this will help you...Cheers...
