Is it possible to have multiple MCR keys of the same DN so that when people call the same number, it lights up on another button?

I know of LHK, but was just thinking of a different way.

Yes the MCR(multiple call ring) key is like the SCR key. The only set that has restiction on SCR or MCR keys is the 2006.

you can have up to 30 appearances of an MCR DN. I don't know what you mean by another button. Do you mean having the same MCR key on multiple keys on the same phone?

So basically, you can your own little attendant console that has tonnes of mcr keys of the same DN, and you just answer them all...

Sweet!

I just tried it on my phone, and works great.

I increased my LHK to encompass all the numbers so they will go to voicemail.

The only wierd thing is that when you call, all three appearances of the mcr on the same tn light up. I'm wondering if two simultaneous incomming calls will go busy, or straight to voicemail or something.

no it's almost magic, all line ring, answer one and if another call is inbound, 2 line keep ringing.. i like mcr's some users don't.. mostly because you can't use it like a key system and put the call on hold and walk over and pick it up.. you can transfer it to the same mcr your talking on

However, if the DN is ringing, and another call is trying to come in simultaneously, it'll go straight to voicemail.

mine don't because of a lhk..

so
lhk 2
key 0 mcr 7402
key 1 mcr 7402
key 2 mcr 7402

and all will be good?

that's the set up i use but have a solo dn, scr as key 2, you don't really need lhk with all lines being the same mcr.
