Multiple mail downloads with Exchange 2000

We have a client Using Offline Mail. When they press send and receive they download their mail from the Exchange server (exchange 2000) . If they click it agin, all the mial downloads again.

any ideas how to stop this.

The client is using Outlook 2000

Look for setting in either Outlook or in the Mail properties of the Control Panel

Put a check mark on an option that says something like "keep copy of email on the server";

this way, your Outlook still downloads all the emails, but still keeps copy of these on the Exch server
