Multiple Laptops to One Printer 1

Hey fellas,
I'm looking for the least expensive way to temporarily hook 4 laptop computers (Windows XP-based) to share one printer. The setup will only be used for one day at an outdoor booth (church event) so cost has to be minimal.

Of course, all laptops are USB compatible as is the printer.

How would you accomplish such a network?

Here ya go... AND this will be a device you will be able to use again and again... Church events usually happen annually, right? Here's the answer for at least the next few years.

This whole thing, by the way, will be FAR easier if the laptops are all the same version of XP - home or pro - just keep this in mind.

If you are not interested in file sharing or network securities, intermixing should be fairly simple.

To take it a step further: if the laptops all have integrated wireless, there's the wireless USB printer serv too.

Unforetunately some of the laptops don't have integrated wireless - else that would be the way to go.
