OK, this is a long shot but I wonder if I can do the following using Javascript and other methods which I believe can only be done with Flash right now.
I have a website which has a large banner across the top (1024 x 400). I want to add further images and the banner to rotate round using transitions and even perhaps navigation (with small numbers overlaid on the images to navigate through the images).
I also want to allow the main user to upload a select images to be included in the transition (thro' an XML file??).
I would also like to overlay a translucent blue column to the left hand side of the image (full height of the image) with some text on it (text to be amended by user too).
Does all that make sense?
I've had a friend product something similar using Flash but its heavy and I wondered if this was achievable using just JS, XHTML, CSS??
Thanks in advance.
