i am have set up a hunt group with three phones. it goes from phone 1 to phone two then to phone 3. i then want it to go to the voicemail of the first phone if phone 3 does not answer. this works fine for me with two phones but when i introduce the third phone, it just rings out. so if no one answers any phones, rather than going to voicemail it just rings out. can anyone help me?

try making the phones SFA (second level forwarding allowed) in the CLS. If set A goes to set B on a no answer and set B goes to set C on a no answer and set C goes to voicemail then each of these sets should also then go to their respective mailboxes on a no answer (although you said HUNT I think you mean forward no answer). If I misunderstood you please post back. good luck.

you should be able to enter the vm at position 4 in the chain and you can put the call into anyones mailbox.

chk fna and sfa in your cls.. secondary forwarding allow, should allow a number that was hunted to forward to mail.. you might be better satisfied by using mcr keys on the three sets, hunt will work but set 1 gets all the calls.. mcr gives each user the chance to answer nad if all three phones are fna to mail, it will go to mail on no ring no answer

you can set your vm acd dn, the same number you use as you fdn and hunt as the hunt dn on the last phone and use your fdn prompt to forward no answer to mail..

fdn xxxx
hunt xxxx
with x=to your vm main number
