Hi. I've created many Flash files (hundreds) and now that I'm ready to finalize this project, I'd like to "package" (is that the right term?) all this in a Director file so that I only have one file when I'm done. Can this be done and if so how do I go about doing it?
Thank you!

But there are so many files. Do I need to select all of them for import? Or is there a way Director can detect all the "dependent files" and bring those in automatically? Also, there are external jpegs and video clips that the flash files use. Do I need to import those as well? And lastly, do I need to relink these files in Director?

Thank you for your help.

Do you mind explaining how that's done? (I know Flash & ActionScript well, but am unfamiliar with Director or Lingo.)

I am creating a CD. My goal is that the individual pieces that make up this CD should not be visible when the CD is explored. I know that Director can generate one Shockwave file out of everything. Can Flash do the same thing??

Then you have to import and internalize all of your SWFs. Flash cannot do that. But what about your external assets? If you want to internalize everything, your SWFs cannot use external assets.

I'm not concerned with my external assets. I don't mind leaving those external. It's the SWFs I really want to combine into one big projector. Am I better off trying that in Director or Flash??

I do appreciate all your help. Thank you.

Too complicated for me to do in Director. I will do it all in Flash. Is there another way for me to "hide" the files on the CD??

So that's it, then... Thanks so much for all your help, Kenneth.
