All versions of windows allow you seach for files but you can only search for ONE thing at a time eg *.exe

Does anyone know if there is such a program for multiple searches. eg.. t*.txt and s*.exe and r*.jpg in one go?
something that could import a simple text file (list)to process would be helpfull.

BTW XPs search is pants!...Win95 was better..at least it remembered your last searches!.

I live in hope!

1) Separate the multiple items in the filename search box with semi-colons.

2) Windows remembers my past searches but the most recently used dropdown only activates after at least one character is typed in the box.

3) If you need to save the full search, on the file menu is the "Save Search" option

Not quite what I ment!,
I have found a program called Agent Ransack that should do the trick.
Thanks anyway
